Donating food

Our food parcel lists consist of non-perishable nutritious food which is mainly donated to us. We are grateful for all donations but would like to encourage donations of food needed as we do have a good stock level of some food items after generous donations given at Harvest Festival and Christmas. We often get asked for toiletries and include a toilet roll with each food parcel so these are also welcome donations.

If food is given from a store cupboard, please bear in mind that we cannot distribute food which is past its sell-by date or has been partly used if not wrapped.

How to donate food

Maybe you could add an item of food to your weekly shopping- some items on the list are very inexpensive but in quantity, make a lot of difference to us. If you are attend a Church which supports us regularly then there will be a collection bucket in place to leave the food. If you attend a Church, organisation or work place which would like to start supporting us, then we can supply a bucket and collect the donations when called.

Drop off points are available as follows for individual donations:

We would like to know who our supporters are so please enclose a slip with contact details- preferably email so we can thank you!

Donating money

Financial donations are very welcome. Our running costs are very low- we have to pay for insurance and one-off purchases such as shelving and trolleys, and occasional volunteer expenses. The rest of the money donated is for buying food and baby goods as needed including fridge items which cannot be donated.

Cheques payable to Conwy Food Bank can be sent to our office in Arc Communites- address on 'Contact Us' page.
